Our Vision & Founder
Our vision is to create a future where immigrant families can navigate the U.S. immigration system with confidence, clarity, and dignity, knowing they have ethical and knowledgeable advocates by their side.
Yessica Vazquez was born in Navolato, Sinaloa, Mexico, and immigrated to the United States at six years old. Growing up undocumented, she experienced firsthand the uncertainty, fear, and barriers many immigrant families face. These early experiences inspired her deep commitment to serving her community with integrity, transparency, and compassion.
Navigating a complex and often confusing immigration process with her own family, including encountering misinformation and costly mistakes, motivated Yessica to pursue a legal career. She witnessed how vulnerable immigrant families can be without clear, ethical guidance, and her mission became clear: to provide honest, competent, and accessible immigration representation so others do not have to navigate the system alone.
Yessica has experience handling a wide range of immigration cases, including humanitarian relief and complex family-based and employment-based matters.
Dorada Law, P.C. was founded as both a professional commitment and a personal tribute. The name Dorada honors Yessica’s Sinaloense roots and her late father, who, among his many sacrifices to support the family, worked as a fisherman in Mexico. The dorado fish symbolizes resilience, strength, and perseverance, values that continue to guide the firm’s work today.
Yessica focuses her practice on providing personalized, ethical, and transparent immigration representation. She is dedicated to ensuring that every client understands their options, receives straightforward advice, and feels empowered throughout their immigration journey.
